Website Links

This section of kerleytechnical.com presents links to other websites I have found that have useful information about equations of state and related issues. I am just getting started with this page. I will be adding new links from time to time, revising the format, etc.

Databases

The NIST gateway site provides access to NIST scientific and technical data, properties

       and substances.

The NIST webbook offers thermochemical and thermophysical data for various fluids.

Constitutive Modeling

Rebecca Brannon's website offers tutorials and other useful information on thermo-

dynamics, material modeling, and related mathematical techniques.

Quantum Statistical Mechanics

An English translation of the 1926 paper by Born and Oppenheimer is available, either as

a pdf file or a postscript file. This translation was made by S. M. Blinder, with

emendations by Brian Sutcliffe and Wolf Geppert. The site is provided by Brian Sutcliffe.

Shock Wave Physics

Programs for several past meetings of the APS topical shock wave group can be found at:

       2009,  2007,  2005,  2003,  2001,  1999,  1997,  1995,  1993,  1981

Explosives

Papers from the 12th, 13th and 14th International Detonation Symposia can be

    downloaded from:

       14th Symposium (2010), 13th Symposium (2006)12th Symposium (2002)

Continuum Mechanics

    to be added.

Applications

    to be added.

Useful Software

I am using Camtasia Studio to create the narrated PowerPoint tutorials for this website.

I use the GNUPlot program to plot EOS calculations and data when developing models

       and writing reports and papers.

I use the GFortran compiler to compile the EOSPro code on several platforms.
